“It’s those little things that make the difference!!"

"Exceptional Hotel… Don’t delay just go!”

Quite simply, this hotel is amazing. Its #1 position on TripAdvisor is so well deserved. We stayed in a regular apartment, and there was nothing "regular" about it. It was modern, extremely spacious, super quiet and soooo comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and very spacious. Loved the super informative "Hotel Information" book in the room, which answered just about every question you could possibly have on Athens or the hotel (and then some). The kitchen had every modern appliance you could want, and the complementary champagne and chocolates on arrival was a real treat. The staff are exceptional, fautless actually, and the breakfast in the morning had everything you could possibly want - absolutely delicious! And the location couldn't be better, right in the middle of the plaka with everything within easy walking distance. What more can I say - other than, just go! You won't be dissappointed... ”Money very well spent”

If I am blessed and get to travel to Athens again, I will MOST DEFINITELY choose AVA Hotel Athens as my place to stay! From the first email and first phone call to reserve my room, the staff were nothing but pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The rooms (we stayed at AVA two differenttimes 18 days) were clean, spacious, relaxing, and comfortable. The beds and pillows gave me some of the best sleep I've had in months. The breakfast was terrific. And we couldn't have picked a better location - in the heart of the Plaka! Down the street and to the right were two bus stops for the Athens Hop On Hop off bus tours. To the left of the AVA hotel, just across the road, were Hadrian's Arch and The Temple od Zeus. Ten minutes furtherdown from those two sites were Parliament, the National Gardens, Syntagma Square, the Panathenaic Stadium, and museums and shopping galore. Stepping out of AVA and turning to the right, we were looking at the Acropolis. Just beyond that is the Agora and Monastiraki Square. Being in the Plaka, we could go to restaurants and coffee shops, or purchase thinks to cook from little markets, since the rooms had kitchens with refrigirators, cook- and dining -ware, etc. I didn't want to leave. I will definitely stay here again and definitely recommenc it to all my family and friends. Best ever I've EVER stayed in, ans at a very good price! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about AVA....loved it, loved it, loved it and the prople who run it!.... Harikleia 27 January 2011.
